Determining specific heats

If a student transfers a metal sample from a hot water bath to a calorimeter containing room temperature water and the student failed to dry the metal sample during the transfer and inadvertently transferred warm water to the calorimeter, how would this source of error affect the calculated specific heat of the metal.

there will be error because heat will be transferred from warm water and also mass of water will be changed
specific heat reported here will be more
