Hi, what i'd like to know is, does BaOH exists?? or does it have to be Ba(OH)2???

Ba has +2 charge and OH has -1 charge
now combine these two radicals so that total charge is zero
you can see one mole of Ba+2 needs two moles of OH-
Ba (OH)2

so does that means that when you say barium hydroxide, the formula is really Ba(OH)2??
